The Steering Group
The All-Ireland Pollinator Plan Steering Group oversees the implementation of the Pollinator Plan. It is reviewed annually to ensure that expertise on the group reflects the key tasks that are being undertaken in any given year.

A separate Honey Bee Steering Group has also been established. It includes representatives from AFBI, DAERA, DAFM, the Federation of Irish Beekeepers’ Associations (FIBKA), the Irish Beekeepers’ Association CLG (IBA CLG), the Native Irish Honey Bee Society (NIHBS), and the Ulster Beekeepers’ Association (UBKA). The Chair of the Honey Bee Steering Group is Dr Archie Murchie (AFBI), who also sits on the main group.
