‘COUNCILS: Making room for Biodiversity and the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan’ Conference planned for 6 March 2018
If you are a Local Councillor, Planner, Landscape Architect, Heritage Officer, Sustainability Officer, Biodiversity Officer or Parks and Gardens Staff, please save the date for this pollinator conference on March 6th, 2018, to take place in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
This conference will provide training on the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan as well as an interesting line-up of guest speakers, including council staff and horticulturalists, who can offer advice on what to plant for pollinators; how to alter current mowing regimes; and road verge maintenance for pollinators. This will be an opportunity for knowledge exchange and to learn from the experiences of other pollinator project managers.
